Laurie & Brennan Attorneys Individually Ranked by Chambers USA 2020

Laurie & Brennan is pleased to announce that, in addition to receiving a Band 1 firm ranking, attorneys Ty Laurie, Dan Brennan, Ross Altman, and Krista Kapp have been individually recognized as leaders in construction law by Chambers and Partners. Rankings for individual attorneys are based on their practice area(s), and evaluation of their legal knowledge and experience, ability, effectiveness, and client service.

Laurie & Brennan founding partner, Ty Laurie, has again received a Band 1 ranking – the highest ranking possible – from Chambers. Per Chambers, Ty “is noted for handling some of the most complex construction litigation cases in the state, representing his clients in disputes that involve corporate headquarters, football stadiums, and luxury hotels, among others”.   Ty is praised for being “a very creative and energetic attorney” as well as “a problem solver.”

Founding partner, Dan Brennan, was again recognized by Chambers with a Band 2 ranking. A Chambers source emphasized Dan’s construction contracting skills, noting that Dan “solved problems, came up with compromises and got the deal done in a very short time.”

Senior Counsel Ross Altman was again honored with a Band 2 ranking.  Ross achieved this recognition due to his wide-ranging construction practice and experience advising on projects with novel delivery methods.

Partner Krista Kapp earned a Band 3 ranking from Chambers.  Krista’s contract drafting and negotiation skills were specifically spotlighted, with one client simply stating that Krista is “extraordinarily competent and knows what she’s doing.”
