Community Involvement

The attorneys and staff at Laurie & Brennan proudly support a variety of non-profit organizations that serve the Chicagoland community. While the primary aim of the work we support is to provide a positive and lasting impact, we believe service also enriches our lives and the quality of our firm.

From local food pantries to youth service organizations, our attorneys share their talents and resources to enhance the quality of life in the community in which we work and live.

Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

The different backgrounds and perspectives we have as attorneys serve to enrich the firm and enhance our ability to offer solutions for the variety of challenges our clients experience. This drives the continued value we place on diversity and inclusivity at all levels of our firm.

As part of our continued focus to increase and develop diversity – both in our firm and the industry we serve – we are deeply committed to the promotion and advancement of women in construction law. From our founding through today, women have played a critical role in shaping our organization. We are one of the few construction law boutiques that can claim to have both a woman as one of its founding partners and a partnership rank that is over 40% female.

Our team actively participates and devotes time to organizations that foster diversity and gender inclusion, including:

  • Professional Women in Construction (PWC)
  • Federation of Women Contractors (FWC)
  • National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC)
  • ABA Forum on Construction Law
